A beaten wooden heart..

She has so much

Nothing to want for

Her home is full of jewels

adorned with gold

all these jewels come with a beating heart

Why does she lust?

Why does she force Father times hands?

Your entire being is beautiful

It is

I love you

many  times a day

She loves, yes

One version of love amongst many

What does the past have to offer?

what ifs.

If she hangs onto her past

What does her future reveal?

Her present

A  court she can finally command

She  unties her collection of masks

They  fall

These are her coloured ribbons of rules

They  sway -a slave to the wind

She parades her new silk coloured clothes

the ones she forgot she ever had.

She allows a select few to disrobe

Her  in all her  brazen nakedness

proudly displayed.

She must be more than just another’s lust

She lives in a palace-

A palace of her  public happiness

She knows without her  beating jewels she will lose her lustre

Lustrous suitors peek -twinkle from above

She can almost reach them

she will ride the sun and bring back the moon

All she needs is one touch

one starry night.

Narcissistic admiration

A  reflection of I love you

I love you

And you are the one I love

An echo  from a cavernous place

I love you too

Two I love and you

A stone pebbled heart

Ripples – distorts the face of a thousand lies

A thousand thorns

she lies down

her bed made.

Where is her true tender

He who whispered  all that she could be?

All that she had become?

The only one that stayed around to see her true plumage bloom

The one that caught  the tears and turned  them into rain

Just nature’s call.  how cruel it can be

A tender showered with  her mother natures rules

Rule your heart, his soul implored

and open her heart she did..
